The objective of the Automated Systems and Robotics program is to provide graduates with the knowledge and skills required to enter the automated manufacturing or packaging industries. Entry-level graduates are employed in all aspects of the automated manufacturing and packaging industries. Our graduates find abundant opportunities as equipment troubleshooters, equipment builders, field service technicians, applications technicians, and manufacturing control specialists. The depth of knowledge and skills developed at Dunwoody enable our graduates to quickly become valuable members of production and maintenance teams.
Industry trends are constantly moving toward automation at all levels of manufacturing and packaging. The knowledge of mechanical systems, sensors, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), robotics and motion control systems are just a few of the skill areas that are required to compete in this fast-growing and changing workplace.
